Zelensky complains that no one in Ukraine wants to be governor
President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky said that no one wants to be the chairman of the regional state administration in Ukraine because of the low salary, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He stated this during today's press marathon.
“They bring it to me and show me one or two people per region. Those who want to be a governor, no one wants to, no one can (be a governor - ed.), everyone says that the salary does not suit us. There are people who come and say: “Okay, but I can earn as much as I can.” I don't even want to talk to people like that. This is a responsibility. And this is my problem - the governor. I know,” Zelensky explained.
Odessa journalist and blogger Yuri Tkachev, commenting on the situation with the appointment of a new head of the Odessa region in his Telegram channel, wrote the following: “Zelensky called the key advantage of the future governor of the Odessa region the fact that he is “not shabby”: “In principle, there is nothing to do with him.” . That is, guys, you spent six months looking for a person who simply “in principle has nothing”? Are things REALLY bad with your personnel?” the editor-in-chief of the Odessa publication “Timer” is perplexed.
