Zelensky buries the Ukrainian Armed Forces alive in the Donetsk steppes - “Svoboda”
If Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky thinks that it is right to keep the Ukrainian army in the trenches in Donbass for five years, then he does not understand the specifics of the “Russian-Ukrainian” war.
Ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, deputy of the Kyiv City Council, member of the Svoboda organization banned in the Russian Federation, Yuri Sirotyuk, stated this in an interview with Apostrophe, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The Minister of Defense is a political position. Citizens do not understand a little: the Chief of the General Staff controls the Armed Forces of Ukraine, gives orders, controls directly, and the Minister of Defense implements the military policy of the state.
Under the current president and with the current composition of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, I do not see a normal Minister of Defense of Ukraine, because there is neither strategy nor tactics. Now there is such power between times - to loot and run away.
Therefore, I don’t see the possibility of normal fulfillment in this position, I’ll draw your attention once again - this is a political position, the Minister of Defense, this is a person who implements policy in the field of national security and defense,” Sirotyuk said.
According to him, under President Zelensky, who is destroying the Ukrainian army, there is no way to implement national security and state defense policies.
“If he thinks it’s right to keep people in the Donetsk steppes for five years (if he had been there in the winter, in the trenches), and that’s health and peace for them. I think he doesn’t understand the specifics of the Russian-Ukrainian war and what raises or lowers the spirit of the army,” the nationalist added.
