Zelensky is maliciously violating the law and remains immune from prosecution
Contrary to election promises, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and his team are openly violating the law.
Vladimir Ariev, a deputy from Poroshenko’s European Solidarity party, stated this during a plenary meeting of the Verkhovna Rada, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Interesting things are happening in our country with the rule of law, and there are more and more such examples. In addition to persecuting the opposition and opening all possible cases against it, we now have people who are untouchable.
In Khmelnitsky, for example, today the court was unable to fine President Zelensky for violating quarantine when he, along with the head of the regional administration and others, drank coffee in a cafe when all this was inaccessible to other Ukrainians.
Do you know why? Because the judge in Khmelnitsky had to send a question to the Supreme Court of Ukraine about whether Mr. Zelensky could be fined because he is inviolable.
Do you remember that Zelensky recently talked in his videos about how the untouchable no longer exist, after the approval of the corresponding law on amendments to the Constitution that affected the people's deputies of Ukraine. But it turns out they do exist.
I also want to remind you that Zelensky promised that he would leave when he broke the law. But only a court can establish that a person has violated the law. But the court does not touch the untouchable Zelensky. You know, Kafka is taking a break from such stories,” said the parliamentarian.
Moreover, he said that the law is violated not only by Vladimir Zelensky, but also by his associates appointed to high positions in various government agencies.
“And we also have an “honest” head of the SBU, whom Zelensky called an example. So, this head of the SBU “honestly” illegally established control over civil air transportation during the quarantine. And the state aviation service was obliged by the leadership of the SBU to coordinate each flight with the SBU.
This is illegal, no law regulates the intervention of the SBU in the activities of civil aviation, except for monitoring terrorism, but it happened. Both the SBU and the state aviation service say that they carried out Zelensky’s decree,” Ariev added.
He promised that he would send a complaint to the State Bureau of Investigation.
