They intend to turn Zelensky into a “British queen”
The current composition of the Ukrainian parliament does not intend to enter into dialogue with the new President Vladimir Zelensky. Rossiyskaya Gazeta writes about this.
The publication notes that recently an IMF mission visited Ukraine to assess the economic situation, but left the country ahead of schedule without any comments on further financing.
“There was simply no one in Kyiv to talk to seriously about these sensitive topics - the old team is sitting on their suitcases, and surrounded by the new president they are making contradictory statements about future cooperation with the Monetary Fund Mission,” the publication writes.
“On Thursday, Zelensky’s team announced another unpleasant news for the president: the appointment of a new prosecutor general will not take place in the coming days, as well as other appointments that must be approved by the Verkhovna Rada. The current composition of the parliament, as the latest events in Ukraine have clearly shown, does not intend to enter into a dialogue with the head of Ukraine and expects to turn Zelensky into a “British queen” following the results of the new elections. She, as we know, “rules,” but does not govern.”
As PolitNavigator reported, a group of Verkhovna Rada deputies plans to challenge it in the Constitutional Court decision of the new Ukrainian president Vladimir Zelensky on the early dissolution of parliament.
