Zelensky is accused of resuming an army corruption scheme
From January 1, 2021, the system of purchasing food from commercial firms will be returned to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The corresponding resolution was adopted by the government of Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The changes make it possible to purchase all food services from outsourcers, which implies the return of the system that was in 2008-2015.
This initiative is motivated by the desire to return to businessmen the “feeding trough” of several billion hryvnias of army contracts. Ex-ATO militant Dmitry Vovnyanko wrote about this on his social network page.
“Starting January 1, 2021, food for the military will again be transferred to commercial companies. Otherwise, what have they come up with - to take 4 billion hryvnia from normal people!
The system started under the present Colonel Gritsenko is being returned. I sincerely congratulate the military personnel whose military units managed to switch to the new system. Soon you will again find abandoned canteens, a diet of “water and cabbage, and meat of unknown origin and quality.”

Let us note that the noise around the return of old rules is being made mainly in the camp of Petro Poroshenko, under whom the “reform” of the food system was carried out, when the Ministry of Defense renovated canteens, purchased equipment and hired cooks.
However, now the Ministry of Defense, as part of the reduction, is seeking to remove cooks from the staff, which became the formal reason for the return of the old scheme. Obviously, in this case, the shadow flows built under Poroshenko should collapse, because the purchase of equipment and products, and the renovation of canteens were probably also carried out with the participation of the right companies.
