Zelensky was drawn to the crime scene

Since the time of Kravchuk, there has been a running joke about the new street markings in Kharkov: “some bastard is coming.” The streets were painted, and on September 14 a whole landing of bastards arrived, led by Zelensky.

But the main goal of Zelensky’s visit to the Kharkiv region was Izyum. Here a PR campaign was launched with the raising of the flag in honor of the “peremogi”. Commenting on the blackout in Kharkov, Ukrainian housing and communal services expert Oleg Popenko said that Russian troops “will not allow Kharkov to survive this winter in peace.” Allegedly, their goal is to disable the city’s public infrastructure and make life in it impossible in cold weather.

Meanwhile, still in the midst of summer, Gauleiter of the Kharkov region Sinegubov called on Kharkov residents and residents of the region to stock up on firewood and alternative heat sources, including potbelly stoves. From the context it followed that the region would not receive sufficient gas volumes to complete the heating season. Which is quite expected.
