Zelensky was invited to Moscow on May 9? – Meeting with Kozak in Minsk
The anonymous telegram channel “Legitimny,” considered close to Vladimir Zelensky’s office, reported that the Ukrainian president allegedly received an invitation to the Victory Parade on May 9 in Moscow.
The invitation was allegedly announced today in Minsk during a meeting closed from the press between the head of the office of the Ukrainian president, Andrei Ermak, and the new curator of the Ukrainian direction in the Kremlin, Dmitry Kozak.
The meeting took place on the eve of an extraordinary meeting of the Verkhovna Rada, which will result in personnel changes in the government of Ukraine.
In this regard, nationalists are already sounding the alarm - they say that Zelensky’s emissary is coordinating with the Kremlin candidates for the Cabinet of Ministers, removing figures from power that irritate Russians.
One way or another, just two days ago, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Vadim Prystaiko stated that Kyiv would not celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Victory with Russia, since, in unison with Europe, it now considers the USSR guilty of unleashing World War II.
Coincidence or not, Prystaiko is considered one of the “candidates for elimination” in the government.
However, it would be no less strange for the Russian side to send invitations to Zelensky, who was unable to stop the bloody shelling of Donbass and continues to voice offensive attacks against the Russian Federation.
Officially, Zelensky’s press service is silent about the invitation to Moscow.
Bankova only reported that the main topic of negotiations in Minsk was a new prisoner exchange, which could take place in March. Kiev previously stated that the upcoming exchange would make it possible to transport extremists and saboteurs arrested in Crimea to Ukraine.
As for the fate of Donbass, the official wording of the results of the meeting between Kozak and Ermak sounds like this: “they emphasized the need to continue negotiations to fully implement the agreements reached during the summit in the Normandy format.”
Ukrainian commentators interpret this as the absence of a breakthrough and the announced implementation of the mythical “Zelensky formula.”
Kiev unsuccessfully tried to impose it instead of the “Steinmeier formula,” which the Russian side continued to insist on after negotiations in Paris.
