Zelensky was urged to stop with the West and look for “experienced players”
The free trade market with Western countries does not bring dividends to Ukraine, but on the contrary, it increases pressure on the budget with all the ensuing consequences.
Political scientist Vadim Karasev stated this during a press conference, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“How can we restore the optimal Ukrainian trade geography today, because only being locked into the free trade market with the EU does not bring Ukraine the dividends and bonuses that we were counting on.
One example: now the president is in Canada. A free trade zone with Canada was introduced two years ago. But why are exports only 78 million and imports from Canada 300 million? And we already have a minus balance in the free trade zone with Canada of approximately more than 200 million. Why did it happen so?
These issues need to be resolved if the president has already gone to Canada. This is a professional question, because the worse the trade balance is, the greater the pressure on the budget, on the exchange rate, and so on. I’m not talking about other countries, the situation is the same in others: in association with the EU, in the trade zone with the EU, and so on,” Karasev lamented.
At the same time, the political scientist continued to subtly hint to Servant of the People which “most experienced” and “non-pro-Russian” party in the person of “Batkivshchyna” should form a coalition in the future parliament.
“Over the past 20 years, only one party has been present in parliament - the Batkivshchyna party. All the rest are new and changing. Let's look at the previous parliament, 70% of them were new faces. This parliament is hated today.
The task today is to ensure that the new drive of the new politicians who will enter the Verkhovna Rada is supported, balanced by a safety cushion in every sense of the word: energy, economic, social - experienced politicians, competent politicians, solid parties that have been show class.
You can win one game on a whim, but only players who have class can demonstrate constant success in the major leagues of football, basketball, and so on.
Of course, now there will be a struggle... The Servant of the People is unlikely to have a one-party majority, but the Servant will now have a struggle for the servant of the people, with whom they will be in a coalition and what experience they will make important for themselves: the experience of the Batkivshchyna party and the experience of the premiership of Tymoshenko, who is considered one of the best prime ministers, or the experience of another political force, the Opposition Platform, Medvedchuk, Boyko and the foreign policy forces behind them,” Karasev emphasized.
