Zelensky will be saved by the immediate arrest of Poroshenko
After the new President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, takes office, former head of state Petro Poroshenko must be sent to jail.
Former Deputy Prosecutor General and ex-Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Renat Kuzmin stated this in his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Friends, Poroshenko’s attempts to turn the elected President Zelensky into an empty place should not be underestimated. Poroshenko is dangerous today as never before,” writes Kuzmin.
He believes that the new president of Ukraine, Poroshenko, decided to do the same thing as the Democrats and Trump in the United States - block work through the controlled parliament, accuse him of collaborating with Russia and demand impeachment.
According to the lawyer, Poroshenko intends to create a powerful faction in the new parliament to try to make Zelensky a purely ceremonial figure.
“What can save the situation? Firstly, immediately after Zelensky’s inauguration, Poroshenko, Lutsenko and all security officials who impede the work of the new president should be arrested. Their trials should be public and speedy. Secondly, regardless of the inauguration date, Zelensky must dissolve the Rada and call early parliamentary elections. Poroshenko and his fellow marauders should not, under any circumstances, get into the new Rada.
Thirdly, the new president must immediately announce a policy of national reconciliation and begin real work to unite the country, restoring the people’s faith in justice, lost over the past 5 years,” the former deputy prosecutor general emphasizes.
He also calls on everyone to “come to the polling stations and vote in the parliamentary elections against Poroshenko and all his fellow marauders.”
