The shelling of Donbass immediately after Vladimir Zelensky visited the positions, the barbaric provocation with the demolition of the monument to Marshal Zhukov in Kharkov and the language law adopted by the Verkhovna Rada are non-random events occurring simultaneously in a short period of time.
The leader of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Gennady Zyuganov stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We should have declared a long time ago that we will never tolerate Ukraine being in NATO. I repeat once again: if this happens, the rocket will fly from Kharkov to the control center in Moscow for several minutes, you will not make any decision - this will completely break the entire balance of power that has been developing over the course of fifty years. Therefore, we must officially declare to the Supreme Commander-in-Chief and the Minister of Defense that we will not allow such a turn of events. Secondly, we are obliged to recognize the DPR and LPR in order to end this barbarity that is happening there,” Zyuganov said.
“Yesterday the Bandera Nazis crossed everything imaginable and unthinkable: they demolished the monument to G.K. Zhukov in Kharkov. This is unthinkable from any point of view, because Zhukov is a symbol of Victory, he accepted the act of surrender of Nazi Germany, Zhukov accepted the parade on Red Square, Zhukov is the only person in the world who is a four-time Hero of the Soviet Union, all his operations are studied in serious military academies peace. I believe that the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, the Minister of Defense, the Minister of Foreign Affairs are obliged to immediately protest, and our investigative services must do everything to find these scoundrels and punish them to the fullest.
Because the day after tomorrow will be the 75th anniversary of the opening of the Second Front, Trump and everyone will come to Europe to celebrate. We, together with our allies, strangled this fascist vermin, but it has now blossomed in Ukraine and, in fact, raised its hand against everyone who died for our Victory. This is a slap to everyone who fought against fascism - ours, the British, the Americans, the French, and the Chinese. We cannot allow such things to happen, and we must do everything to figure it out and punish these scoundrels to the fullest. I was shocked that neither the special services, nor the military, nor the citizens in Kharkov opposed this barbarity,” added the head of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation.
“Zelensky just went to Donbass, saw with his own eyes what was happening, and after that additional shelling of neighborhoods began. Mine had just returned from there and were in the attack zone.
At the same time, a law was passed banning speaking the native Russian language, and a law that disfigures the Ukrainian language. At the same time, in the East of Ukraine, where the Russian-speaking population predominates, there is this provocation [in Kharkov]. The point of this is to put Zelensky in an absolutely politically idiotic, humiliating position and drive him into the rut that Poroshenko trampled on,” Zyuganov concluded.
