Zelensky is greeted by a mass picket of Orthodox Christians
Parishioners of the canonical UOC churches seized and selected by Ukrainian schismatics gathered at the airport in Rivne, where President Vladimir Zelensky is due to arrive on a visit.
As a PolitNavigator correspondent reports with reference to the Union of Orthodox Journalists, believers want to complain about the harassment to the president personally.
About two hundred believers from the Rivne and Sarny dioceses of the UOC gathered at the entrance to the Rivne airport.
They are holding posters with slogans: “The UOC is beyond politics,” “The Church is the House of God, not an arena for political manipulation,” “Mr. President, stop the persecution of UOC believers,” and so on.
“The meeting with the president was mainly attended by parishioners who had suffered from raider actions by representatives of the OCU,” the message says.
