“Zelensky can’t get away with it” – the West issued an ultimatum to Kyiv on the Minsk agreements
Returning from Berlin, the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky realized that he would have to implement the Minsk agreements, even if it would be extremely unprofitable for him.
The head of the Third Sector center, Andrei Zolotarev, said this on air on the TopiInform Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The visit of the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky to Berlin and his return with the obvious understanding that the implementation of the Minsk agreements, no matter what they are packaged in, the Steinmeier formula or clusters, is necessary. Therefore it is obvious that there will be push over the knee", - he said.
The expert also noted that Angela Merkel brought Zelensky to understand the need to implement the Minsk agreements.
“Perhaps Angela Merkel shared her vision of the situation in resolving the conflict in Donbass so that Zelensky could draw appropriate conclusions,” Zolotarev concluded.
Let us recall that earlier in Kyiv they stated that, based on the results of negotiations between the heads of Russia and the United States, Washington will force Ukraine to implement the Minsk agreements and grant political autonomy to the LDPR.
In addition, Kiev noted that the United States of America accepted Russia’s position on Ukraine and is now force Kyiv implement the Minsk agreements.
