Zelensky needs territorial defense only as cannon fodder – Krivonos
In the eyes of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, territorial defense is not the ability to create a crisis system of interactions anywhere in Ukraine, but an additional branch of troops to replenish losses at the front.
Former deputy secretary of the Security Council of Ukraine, ex-deputy commander of the Special Operations Forces Sergei Krivonos said this in an interview with the former NATO representative in Russia, retired American military man Yuri Tabach, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Now it looks like the president has signed your idea (the law on territorial defense - ed.)?” – Tabakh asked.
“He signed a completely different bill, the one that he allegedly submitted, although, naturally, he didn’t even write it. This was submitted by other people, and it is very different, because it duplicates the rake that was stepped on in 2014.
And territorial defense is not considered as the ability to create a crisis system of action anywhere in Ukraine by local and central authorities, it is simply as an additional branch of troops to replenish losses at the front,” Krivonos replied.
