Zelensky doesn't care about voters - he's afraid of Nazis on the street
Vladimir Zelensky has no plan to stop the war in Donbass. He will act based on the situation - that is, pressure from the Nazis on the street or received signals from world leaders. The new president is no longer interested in the opinions of voters.
Ruslan Bortnik, director of the Ukrainian Institute of Policy Analysis and Management, stated this on the Topinform channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Zelensky and his team do not have a common position. There is no plan. There are a set of different plans that do not coincide. Zelensky will act based on the political situation. He does not have his own ideology, his own vision. Or is it very fragile.
If, relatively speaking, the right will create pressure, Zelensky will follow Poroshenko’s path. There will be a different political situation, society will put pressure on us to achieve peace, the USA, Russia, Europe will put pressure on us to implement agreements - there will be peace.
The elections are over, Zelensky is no longer afraid of the electorate, but he is afraid of the citizens. The electorate can go to vote, citizens can take torches or clubs and take to the streets. The factor of Maidan and protest will be very serious and will constantly prevail.
Because his electorate is mostly office ferrets who will not go to defend him. The right or their opponents, groups that can mobilize many people, will take to the streets. They will be a danger factor for Zelensky. They will determine the political situation, and not those people who voted for Zelensky,” the expert said.
