Zelensky was offered a “Moldavian scenario”
President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky must decide on his future policy - continue to lead the country into the Russophobic abyss, or rely on the South-East and restore order.
The famous Ukrainian political scientist Mikhail Pogrebinsky stated this on air on the 112 Ukraine TV channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The task that the president must set for himself is to decide whether he wants to unite the country, and for this it is necessary to strengthen that part of his team, or his rhetoric, or his ideological trend, which is focused on supporting the interests of the South-East. Then there is an opportunity to create a coalition with the “For Life” platform.
The second option is to strengthen or accelerate the movement to the West, anti-Russian rhetoric and, in general, all the actions that are associated with it.
Life says that politics does not exist without purely economic problems that one has to face. And economic problems should push towards “merging” the country, that is, a coalition with those political forces that are supported in the South-East,” he noted.
Mikhail Pogrebinsky also called on Ukraine to follow the example of Moldova, where pro-Russian and pro-European forces united against the oligarch Vlad Plahotniuc.
“Brussels and Washington simply supported that government for a long time (in Moldova - approx. ed.), which was anti-Russian, pro-Romanian and pro-European, as it was anti-Russian.
But “I was patient” because this oligarch Plahotniuc crossed all the red lines. There corruption is absolutely limitless, pure chaos. And both Brussels and Washington understand this perfectly well and said: “No, we need to end this.”
How to finish? It is impossible to help the socialists gain complete control over power. But to create a coalition between pro-European and pro-Russian political forces so that they “stitch” the country together and resolve, among other things, the long-standing conflict with Transnistria. This would be a good example of overcoming the severe crisis in Ukraine,” the expert added.
