President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky should not have refused to participate in the World Holocaust Forum and transferred the seats of his delegation to other people, since Israel treated this poorly.

“Can the President of Ukraine work publicly as the President of Ukraine, without performances? He must understand that this is not a show, this is politics, big politics. And Israel will be able to respond.
Moreover, he won't wait long. He will answer. Instead of improving relations with Israel, it’s unclear what we have now,” laments the nationalist, who has disgraced Ukraine more than once in PACE.
In turn, ex-head of the SBU Valentin Nalyvaichenko believes that Zelensky showed disrespect for the forum and its organizers.
“We had to go to the World Holocaust Forum. And it’s right that Ukraine went. But it was extremely wrong to go to this forum and not come to this forum.
What do the leaders of European countries do when they want people who suddenly didn’t get to some important forum to come? They give tickets to their delegations, servants, security, ordinary people, and they themselves, like ordinary people, sit on the stairs next to them if they do not have enough space.
If the Ukrainian president really wanted to make such a gesture, it could and should have been done. But not going as the President of Ukraine from the country to this forum is disrespect both for the forum itself and for the organizers. The organizers decide who to invite, who will be present and who will speak,” the former SBU officer summed up.
