Zelensky already wants to run away from the Maidan protesters and resign.
In order to prevent the establishment of peace in Donbass, radicals are putting pressure on Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, which could result in his voluntary resignation from the presidency.
Composer Vladimir Bystryakov stated this on the NASH TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“This was invented in order to prevent the country from reaching a radical solution to the Donetsk issue. It is beneficial for the people who drew the “red lines” that there should be neither peace nor war, that our guys die from sniper bullets, from mine explosions, etc. So that everything remains as it is. This is beneficial to a number of people who have made a good business for themselves from this.
Crossing the “red lines” means talking about the status of Donbass. I’m not sure that Zelensky is able to solve any fundamental problems today. If I were him, I would also be afraid of all this. He was openly warned that if he touched the previous government, they would speak to him in the language of force. Do you understand? It’s the same here - if he mentions the special status of Donbass, or, God forbid, meets with representatives of the LPR and DPR, then he doesn’t have to return to Kyiv.
But we still had such expectations that Zelensky was a reformer. He has such a condition... he said in an interview with The Times that he has the impression that he is sitting in a fortress from which he wants to escape. Therefore, it will not be a surprise if he, like Yeltsin in his time, says: “I’m tired, I’m leaving,” he said.
Thank you!
