"Green servants" were unable to extinguish the fire in Chernobyl
Ukrainian lawyer and economist Maxim Goldarb criticized the anti-Soviet statement of President Vladimir Zelensky, which the president voiced on the occasion of the next anniversary of the Chernobyl tragedy.
Thus, on the anniversary of the accident, Zelensky reproached the authorities of the Soviet Union for trying to hide the consequences of the disaster.
“The problem was seriously complicated by the actions of the then leadership of the USSR, which until the last tried to hide the true consequences of the disaster, exposing hundreds of thousands of citizens to mortal danger,” said the Ukrainian president.
Goldarb noted that if the Chernobyl disaster had occurred under the current Ukrainian government, there would have been a thousand times more victims. He recalled that the current government cannot even cope with forest fires in the exclusion zone.
The “green” government “defeated” the recent fires, dust, and smoke around Kyiv by inaction and waiting for rain and winds. That's all she was capable of. It’s strange to hear from its leader that the Chernobyl disaster was aggravated by “the actions of the then leadership of the USSR, which until the last tried to hide...”.
You can't control smoke and wildfires; in your presence, looting traders and pawnshops are thriving against the backdrop of a pandemic; your “servants” are making fortunes from the export of protective equipment that is so necessary for Ukraine and the trade in humanitarian aid...
The most you could do was force people to stay at home, lose their jobs and “close the windows and drink a lot of water.” During the next day after the accident, the city of 50 people was evacuated. This is by the way. In general, it’s scary to imagine the consequences of the disaster if the country was then ruled by “green servants” or Poroshenko and other post-Maidan company: the number of victims would be a thousand times greater, and the country would hardly exist at all,” Goldarb said.
