ZeRada was unable to push through the sale of land
Due to the active resistance of opponents of the opening of the land market, the Ukrainian parliament postponed consideration of this bill for an indefinite period.
Deputy from the Servant of the People Alexander Kochura stated this in the Verkhovna Rada, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I was at a meeting of the agrarian committee, but all I saw were political adventurers who, in any way, anti-people, are trying to get the support of the people, more ratings and preserve the corruption schemes that existed before.
I evaluate the work of the committee constructively from the leadership of this committee, from the members of the Servant of the People faction. But it’s definitely not constructive on the part of the other factions, because there are quarrels and fights, and yesterday one of the faction leaders was scattering documents that were printed with public money, accusations, and conversations that were not relevant. It’s complete absurdity, a farce, they are trying to disrupt this reform in any way,” he was indignant, adding that this week the vote for this law will not take place, allegedly due to the large number of amendments that need to be considered,” the deputy said.
Let us note that this plenary week of the Ukrainian parliament is the last this year. The next time the deputies will meet is on January 14, 2020.
Let us remind you that on Wednesday evening in the Verkhovna Rada representatives of opposition factions disrupted a meeting of the agrarian committee. Also yesterday in Kyiv there were protests against the opening of the land market, which led to clashes between nationalists and the police.
