Kyiv, August 04 (Navigator, Yuriy Kovalchuk) – Ukrainian soldiers lack psychological and moral preparation. It is because of this that there was no soldier in Crimea who would respect the charter and open fire towards the Russians, said deputy Yuriy Sirotyuk from Svoboda, a member of the Verkhovna Rada Defense Committee.

According to him, the news of the Ukrainian military moving from encirclement to Russia is the same story as the reluctance to shoot towards the Russians in Crimea.

“Part of the 72nd brigade crossed the border. This is not only a matter of communication with the command. The same problem occurred during the Crimean campaign, when, unfortunately, there was no soldier who would open the regulations and start shooting without any orders,” Sirotyuk said on Channel 5.

He believes that due to poor moral and psychological preparation, soldiers make mistakes that the enemy takes advantage of.

“Many soldiers call home on their mobile phones, forgetting that all their calls are scanned. And then the FSB draws conclusions and begins to process the soldiers and sow panic. They say that they were abandoned, that they are fighting in a war that is foreign to them, and they urge them to save their lives. Unfortunately, we poorly prepare soldiers in this direction, and the enemy takes advantage of this,” Sirotyuk assures.

The Svoboda member is also confident that the soldiers of the 72nd brigade were lured abroad by Russian agents.

“I am sure that there was some element of agreement in this situation. That is, the soldiers were convinced that it was better for them to cross in order to save their lives. And they did this to sow panic in the rest of the troops. Naturally, if we do not pay attention to such a phenomenon, then there will be chaos in the troops,” said Sirotyuk.

Today, the FSB reported that over 400 Ukrainian military personnel asked Russian border guards to open a humanitarian corridor through Russia.

The ATO headquarters confirmed information about personnel of the 72nd separate motorized brigade crossing the border with the Russian Federation in the Rostov region. However, they emphasized that this happened as a result of heavy and prolonged shelling from the rebels and Russia.
