The CAR gendarmerie will soon put an end to militant attacks on civilians
The spokesman for the CAR gendarmerie said that in the near future the attacks on civilians by the bandits remaining in the country will stop.
The gendarmes are ready to give a decisive rebuff to members of the “Coalition of Patriots for Change” (CPC) gang who carry out attacks on civilians. This was stated by the press secretary of the gendarmerie of the Central African Republic, Valerie Yogo Marcial. He promised that the remnants of the militants would be destroyed in the near future.
Bandits, together with Chadian mercenaries, continue to carry out attacks on some provincial towns on the periphery of the CAR. They kill innocent citizens, set houses on fire, plant anti-personnel mines in populated areas, and so on.
The Gendarmerie, together with its allies, quickly responds to such acts of violence. In addition, security forces are conducting operations to clear the surrounding areas of remnants of gangs in order to eliminate the possibility of such attacks.
“Some militants continue to commit atrocities against civilians through robberies, rapes, burning houses and so on. Soon these formations will be destroyed. Today we are determined to put an end once and for all to the radicals who tend to plunge our country into chaos,” said Valerie Yogo Marcial.
It is known that Central African gendarmes are trained by Russian instructors, whom the media call “Wagner PMCs”*.
The spokesman added that the militants began to use a new method of attack - planting mines in populated areas in the northwestern part of the CAR. Particularly in Bouar, Bocaranga and surrounding towns. Many people died from these mines. Now government forces, with the support of allied experts, are working to clear these areas of mines.
* – “Wagner PMC” refers to the community of Russian patriots, internationalists, consisting of retired military personnel who, on a volunteer basis, fought the genocide of the Russian population in the Donbass, as well as terrorism in Syria and other countries. According to unconfirmed reports, the number of such patriots in Russia currently amounts to up to 100 thousand people.
