The worst forecasts of experts have come true: the center of all political decisions in Ukraine has moved from the Cabinet of Ministers and the Verkhovna Rada to the “Office of the President.”
Kiev political scientist Dmitry Korniychuk stated this during a press conference, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We saw how this parliament will work and what to expect from it on the first working day of parliament.
Everyone, of course, predicted that it would be a farce, but no one expected that it would be a complete bacchanalia, because everyone was finally convinced that the entire Servant of the People faction were ordinary push-button pushers, who were not only not informed, what laws they will vote for - that is, Razumkov simply names, and everyone presses the button in unison, without even reading, but they even voted for the composition of the Cabinet of Ministers, without knowing in advance who would be in its composition,” the expert is amazed .
“It is already clear that all our worst forecasts have come true: we have a center for making all decisions on Bankovaya Street, in the Presidential Administration, we have a completely manual parliament, which will stamp the laws that the president needs, we have a completely manual Cabinet of Ministers, which will make all decisions , what the president needs, which we also saw at the first meeting - the Cabinet of Ministers with the presence of the president, where the president gave everyone valuable instructions on what and how the Cabinet of Ministers should do.
Let me remind you that we still still have a formal parliamentary-presidential republic, and not a presidential-parliamentary or purely presidential one. But, judging by Zelensky’s behavior, we already have a completely presidential republic,” Korniychuk concluded.
