Ukraine won the right to host the European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships in 2020.

This was reported by the Ukrainian Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation.
Previously, the European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships were already held in the capital of Ukraine in 2004.
The previous, 33rd European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships took place in May 2017 in Hungary.
Considering the negative experience of Eurovision in Kyiv, one should expect numerous scandals due to Kyiv’s attempts to politicize the sporting competition, including an attempt to prevent Russian athletes from participating.
