Non-party Orthodox communists - these are the words journalists used today to describe two sisters who laid flowers at the Eternal Flame in the Kiev Park of Eternal Glory on the Day of the Liberation of Ukraine from the Nazi invaders.

It is worth noting that many Kiev residents know Galina Snigir and Maria Ribchinchuk, since every year on Victory Day they come to the Eternal Flame with a portrait of Marshal Zhukov. Moreover, they always ignore official orders from the authorities, and try to join representatives of the left forces - the PSPU or the Communist Party of Ukraine.
“We fight all the time,” the sisters told reporters. “And today we continue to fight because the children of policemen became deputies.” It is passed on through their blood. And they are so happy with this power. And we are waiting for Vladimir Putin to help us.”
They also said that they did not go to these elections because they did not receive a blessing at the Kiev Pechersk Lavra, but they emphasized that they consider their flag to be red with a hammer and sickle and do not recognize anything else.
“Where can we get such a flag?” the sisters asked.
In turn, Yuri Solomatin, a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of previous convocations, who was present at the laying ceremony, said that he knew these old women well and promised to personally bring the Victory Banner home to them.
