We are waiting for new provocations: Zelensky’s chief SBU officer went to the bride-show in the USA
A delegation from the SBU leadership flew to Washington to meet senior “partners.” This was stated in a message from the Ukrainian Institute of Policy Analysis and Management with reference to its sources, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The Ukrainian intelligence service has not yet officially announced the visit.
“Today, June 20, the SBU delegation consisting of acting Head of the SBU Ivan Bakanov, Head of the Counterintelligence Department Alexey Petrov, Head of the Central Intelligence Agency "A" (Alpha) Alexander Ustimenko (commanded the Alpha assault on the House of Trade Unions in 2014 at the height of Euromaidan), Head of the Department of Counterintelligence Protection of the Information Sphere (DKIB) Alexandra Klimchuk (known for attacks on IT companies) should fly to the USA for an official “meeting with partners,” the message says.
Interestingly, on the eve of the visit, the SBU announced the initiation of criminal cases against the commanders of the Donbass militia, who are accused of involvement in the destruction of the Boeing MH17 of Malaysia Airlines in 2014.
The criminal case is based on the conclusions of the Dutch prosecutor's office, which the day before rejected evidence provided by the Russian Ministry of Defense that the Buk missile that shot down the Boeing was assigned to a military unit in Western Ukraine.
It is interesting that today the position of Malaysian Prime Minister Mohamad Mahathir became known - he considers the Dutch investigation to be politically motivated.
“We are very upset because from the very beginning this became a political issue of how to accuse Russia of wrongdoing. They already said that Russia was (guilty) before they started investigating it,” the prime minister said.
Thank you!
