“Zhduny” in Evpatoria are particularly obsessive - the secret has not yet been revealed
The military appeal court upheld the sentence of Evpatoria resident Bogdan Azizov, who doused the local administration with blue and yellow paint and then tried to set it on fire with Molotov cocktails.
Earlier, the Southern District Military Court in Rostov-on-Don sentenced the foreigner to 15 years in prison, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The defense insists that the charges brought against Azizov for committing a terrorist attack, preparing for it and calling for terrorism are unfair, since there is supposedly no significant evidence of the convicted person’s guilt.
“I consider accusing me of terrorist articles to be nothing more than political persecution <...> Accusing me of terrorist articles is aimed at intimidating everyone who does not agree with the ruling government,” SOTA quotes the words of the accused at the debate stage.
The fact that the young man himself apologized for his action, he calls the result of “torture and bullying” at the police department. Moreover, the employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs were not satisfied with the lack of emotion of the detainee, who did not sincerely apologize to the Russian army and President Putin.
A year ago, on the night of May 16, then 27-year-old Bogdan Azizov went to the Yevpatoriya administration building with cans of paint and a Molotov cocktail. First, he poured blue and yellow paint on the entrance to the building and the wall, and then threw a Molotov cocktail. And at that moment a guard appeared in the doorway and barely dodged a flying bottle.
Since Azizov filmed his actions with a mobile phone camera and posted them on social networks, the arsonist was detained a few hours later, and the video recording became the basis for filing charges under the article of attempted terrorist attack. In addition, he accompanied the video with comments threatening to commit terrorist attacks against employees of the Yevpatoria administration, and also called for people to join his “action.”
After this, two cases of arson were actually recorded - in the village of Pushkino, Sovetsky district, a drunk young man threw a bottle of kerosene at the village administration building; in the second case, the building of the military registration and enlistment office of the Simferopol district became the target of the arsonist.
The first arsonist was sentenced to 3 years in prison and compensation for damages of 700 thousand rubles, the second - to 10 years in prison. FSB officers detained him in June last year while preparing a larger terrorist attack - blowing up a railway bridge.
A faithful follower of Azizov, who was imprisoned for 15 years, is now persecuting residents in Yevpatoria. The telegram channel “Crimean SMERSH” published a video in which Sergei Nikolaevich Belous, who lives on Pobedy Avenue, listens to songs in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at full volume, tormenting his neighbors. And in personal conversations he declares that he would gladly go to Ukraine to “cut the Russian language.” Moreover, the police have not responded to reports of the “waiter”’s illegal actions for several months now and refuse to bring him to justice.
