Zhebrivsky lacks 250 billion to make Donbass controlled by Ukraine “European”
The head of the so-called “military-civil administration of the Donetsk region,” Pavel Zhebrivsky, appointed by Kiev, announced that he dreams of receiving 250 billion hryvnia. That’s exactly what he says is missing to make the part of Donbass controlled by Ukraine “European.”

Zhebrivsky shared these plans in an interview with the Kyiv publication Ukrinform, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Now the key task for me is to create a kind of road map, a road map for building a new infrastructure in Donbass. It should be designed for at least 10-15 years. Cities and villages must become truly European. It will include all water supply and heating mains, roads, administrative buildings, sports facilities, palaces of culture, condominiums, parks, public gardens, municipal transport, and utilities. Full full. How much money do you need for everything? The preliminary estimate is about UAH 200-250 billion, which is needed for the region’s infrastructure to become European,” Zhebrivsky said.
At the same time, the official is not sure that the Europeans will invest in these megalomaniac plans. So, in response to the journalist’s direct question “Will the Europeans help build this European infrastructure?” Zhebrivsky answered vaguely and evasively: “I think so.”
