This was stated by the country's Secretary of Homeland Security John Kelly, reports the BBC.

“If they move in, we need to know what Internet sites they visit, get their passwords. We'll see what they do online,” Kelly told the House Homeland Security Committee.

According to the intelligence officer, such an event should be used as part of strengthening checks of foreigners who may pose a threat to the security of the United States. Kelly emphasized that such checks should concern citizens of 7 countries whom President Donald Trump previously banned from entering the United States. According to the minister, if applicants do not want to cooperate with US authorities, they should not enter the country.

Kelly also stressed that no decisions have been made on this issue yet.
