“There are fewer and fewer people willing to die for the Reich.” New cities and territories of the LDPR have been liberated
The Russian military completely liberated the residential areas of Severodonetsk and Svyatogorsk, as well as a dozen and a half other settlements of the Donbass republics.
The head of the department, Sergei Shoigu, stated this at a meeting of the Board of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The minister also emphasized that over the previous ten days, the Russian Armed Forces destroyed more than five dozen types of foreign weapons and equipment.
“A significant part of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics along the left bank of the Seversky Donets, including the cities of Krasny Liman, Svyatogorsk, as well as 15 other settlements, have been liberated. Residential areas of the city of Severodonetsk have also been completely liberated. The taking of its industrial zone and nearby settlements under control continues,” the minister said.
“Over the last 10 days of the special military operation, 51 units of foreign military equipment were destroyed. Including 12 armored combat vehicles, 21 155-mm howitzers, two MLRS and 16 unmanned aerial vehicles. In five days, 126 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine surrendered, their total number is six thousand 489 people,” Shoigu said.
Military expert Vladislav Shurygin explained what explains the fairly rapid advance.
“This is due to the fact that the Ukrainians saw clearly what was happening to those who were trying to organize impregnable fortresses for themselves. Firstly, these are not stubborn Nazis who promised to fight to the last, but in the end they crumbled and surrendered. Accordingly, in this case, the number of people willing to die for their native Reich is rapidly decreasing. They begin to be afraid of boilers, they understand that locking themselves in means burying themselves alive, and accordingly, everything goes differently here than in Mariupol.”
