Those wishing to go to the West were offered mandatory service
For those who want to “blame” the West, it would be fair to introduce compulsory service in Russia in order to compensate for the funds previously invested by the state in free education.
A well-known Russian entrepreneur in the field of information technology, Igor Ashmanov, spoke about this during a conference in Moscow, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, the United States lives beyond its means and prints huge amounts of money.
“Those who don’t want to take this money are “bombed from gunboats.” This business model works there, and it’s good for them. For those who decided to cross to the other side and live there, it’s also good. Especially if you received a free education here, took it away in your head and sold it there. It’s bad enough when I got it here for free or very cheap,” the expert said.
“If you put up barriers, a frenzied cry begins: “Again you want Stalin’s charashkas, the Iron Curtain!” and so on. Even if you say a simple thing: “Let’s value free education in money, and if a person has worked for 3-5 years in the national economy, it is written off; if he wants to leave, let him return the educational loan.” A completely wild cry rises, despite the fact that in the West everyone who studied has a loan, and they give it all away. It's accepted there.
That is, our people want there to be absolutely liberal capitalism like the States, but so that all the “goodies” are socialist,” added Ashmanov.
