Kuchma’s wife realized the falsehood of “Svidomism”
Despite the ongoing persecution of the Moscow Patriarchate, many Ukrainian politicians and members of their families continue to go to the canonical Orthodox Church without advertising it.
Ukrainian political scientist Dmitry Dzhangirov stated this on the YouTube channel “Capital”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“Somewhere many people understand. They do one thing, but still then go to the canonical Church. They think that they can come to an agreement with God, which in itself is a sin, but the most interesting thing is that they go to the canonical Church to negotiate with God, assuming that only here He exists,” Dzhangirov noted.
His interlocutor, head of the press service of the UOC-MP Vasily Anisimov, agreed with him.
“Yes, and the whole point is that it’s not so much husbands as wives. They are such devout Christians. Kuchma was spinning around like he was in a frying pan, and his wife remained a parishioner, and so on,” he added.
