Lutsenko's wife: Ukrainians will take Poroshenko's law on the “de-occupation” of Donbass and the introduction of martial law to Minsk
Petro Poroshenko’s bill on “de-occupation and reintegration of Donbass,” which would abolish the “ATO” regime and legitimize the military operation, will be presented at a meeting of the Trilateral Contact Group in Minsk.

This was announced by Poroshenko’s representative in the Verkhovna Rada Irina Lutsenko on the sidelines of parliament, TV channel 112.Ukraine reports.
“This bill will be presented at the Minsk group, where our vice-speaker Irina Gerashchenko will be,” she said.
The document, according to Lutsenko, provides for the creation of a headquarters subordinate to the president, which will manage the security forces involved in the Donbass. It will, in particular, include the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, the National Police, the State Emergency Situations Service, military-civil administrations, and the Ministry for the so-called “temporarily occupied territories.”
“Additional powers and points will be spelled out that will enable the president to introduce a state of emergency and martial law in certain areas,” added Poroshenko’s representative in parliament.
Lutsenko added that the possibility of an international police or peacekeeping mission in Donbass was dragged into Poroshenko’s project - a long-standing fixed idea of official Kyiv, which is sharply opposed both in Moscow and in the LDPR.
Let us recall, as PolitNavigator reported, last week NSDC Secretary Alexander Turchynov said in an interview with the media that in Ukraine it is necessary to complete the “ATO” and move to a new format of protection from the “hybrid war with the Russian Federation.” According to him, the updated bill “On the restoration of the state sovereignty of Ukraine over the temporarily occupied territories of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions” will be presented to the president, after which it will promptly be submitted to the Verkhovna Rada.
Commenting on Turchynov’s statement, President Petro Poroshenko announced the development of a bill on the “reintegration of Donbass,” which provides for a number of measures to return Donbass and determines the legal status of territories not controlled by Kyiv. The National Security and Defense Council will soon consider the bill, after which the document should go to the Rada.
