Yana Konotop, the wife of the Minister of Information of Ukraine Yuriy Stets and the presenter of Channel 5 Petro Poroshenko, instantly interrupted the studio guest as soon as he began to draw parallels between the “Muscovites - the organizers of the Holodomor” and the current leaders of the country, under whom tariffs for housing and communal services were 2 times higher minimum pensions and salaries.
This happened during an on-air speech by Verkhovna Rada deputy from the Opposition Bloc, Yevhen Balitsky.

“The government, which loudly shouted about genocide, about famine, is today doing the same thing. But it’s not Muscovites who do this anymore,” Balitsky said.
“Be careful what you say about the Holodomor,” Konotop immediately interrupted him.
“I am aware of the words, when tariff genocide occurs, in my district people cut down plantings, I can’t say on a massive scale, but we see these facts. To reproach a person for not being able to pay for gas because he has been driven to the brink in this state is what worries me most,” the people’s deputy continued.
“We heard you, but regarding the Holodomor, let’s still be more correct,” the presenter continued.
