Zelensky's wife will take care of catering in Ukrainian schools
First Lady of Ukraine Elena Zelenskaya has prepared a preliminary action plan to improve nutrition in schools, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
She announced this on her Instagram page.
“I have already initiated the first strategic roundtable on improving nutrition in schools. It was attended by representatives of government authorities, experts and activists, and now we have a preliminary action plan ready. I see that each of the participants in this project is very worried about its future,” said Elena Zelenskaya.
The First Lady of Ukraine noted that maintaining health requires a healthy lifestyle, physical activity and proper nutrition.
“And it is on these issues that I want to focus my activities as the wife of the President. Now almost half of the students in schools do not like the food in the canteens - they complain about the quality of the food, the lack of vegetables and fruits, and the like. I am confident that together with a large team of like-minded people we can change this situation for the better,” she concluded.
Earlier, PolitNpavigator reported that Russian-speaking Elena Zelenskaya initiated a project to create Ukrainian-language audio guides in the world's largest museums.
