There is no place for a woman on the front line unless she is a soldier by profession or her skills are needed at the front.

This opinion was expressed in an interview with ForPost by volunteer, member of the SVO Anastasia Shaikhutdinova, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“In general, what can a woman do at the front? It’s better for a woman not to do anything there. She's as good as a goat's milk. It is as it is. But basically, if a woman has already taken this path for herself so that she can be effective there, I’m not talking about doctors and signalmen, but, let’s say, from scratch, she either goes as a UAV operator, or this is work with some specific type of weapon "- said the soldier.

She has worked with several partly female units. Mostly snipers serve there. There are jobs for women in intelligence as well.

“Basically, this is the collection and transmission of intelligence information. Because, roughly speaking, it is much easier for a civilian to move along the front if he pees while sitting than it would be for a man. And you attract less attention, and so on. Accordingly, we have many types of intelligence. Including when you walk somewhere on foot, you look at everything with your eyes. Such information is both faster and more objective,” the expert explained.

At the very beginning of the NWO, its task was to deliver humanitarian aid in order to get into contact with the local population.

“This is targeted humanitarian aid, including the delivery of humanitarian aid. But it was primarily aimed not at the very fact of providing assistance to the local population, but at establishing relationships. Basically the front-line zone, it is clear that everyone there has some kind of godfather, brother, son-in-law, matchmaker, classmate, classmate who is on the other side. Accordingly, search among them for spotters. This is why it was necessary to establish normal personal contacts with the local population,” explained Shaikhutdinova.

At the beginning of the Northern Military District, people did not know how to react to Russian military personnel. Because they don’t tell them anything, don’t explain what will happen next. And therefore, in order to establish contact with the local population, a strategy was developed such as the delivery of targeted assistance.

“At some point, we simply stopped carrying ordinary humanitarian aid, and suddenly began transporting targeted aid. That is, guys, if you have relatives there, we can transfer it. Why this was done - in order to establish contacts with the local population. Because a good girl Nastenka comes to some woman Valya and brings a parcel from her daughter. Then he sees that Granny Valya’s neighbor is some grandma Galya, who has nothing to eat, and the next time Nastenka comes there she’ll drop something off for that grandma. So it’s slowly getting better, building up,” the servicewoman clarified and added that in military parlance this is “recruitment with intelligence collection.”

Among male colleagues, attitudes towards women on the front line still differ. And this is another factor why they have no place there - they distract from completing tasks.

“I can say that if it is specifically related to work, say, with some type of weapon on the line of combat contact, then in any case there are men around you. Let’s say there is some task, it needs to be solved, completed, executed. And they, first of all, are men, men. They're making sure you're doing well. That is, it is clear that our man is our Russian man. First, he wants everything to be fine with you, and then we will continue with the task. Roughly speaking, I’m walking, and behind me, let’s say, or next to me, are five men, and they are all the time: carefully, carefully, carefully,” Shaikhutdinova explained.

“The woman is truly useless. This is an isolated case. Because if women go to war, then what next? A huge number of women contact me, write in private messages, and somehow manage to call, somewhere they find numbers: how to get there? Well, why? I judge from my own experience that perhaps their motivation is also material. But I just had such a reassessment of values in terms of women - they fight there, men, so that we are alive, healthy, and safe here. And we'll go there. Well done. A woman, first of all, is moral support and a good, reliable rear.

There are, of course, specialists who have certain skills - these are shooters, our girls, who are both masters of sports, and in general self-taught, who really have talent. I have a friend from DPR intelligence, she invented and patented a good drone striker, that is, she is an engineer. There are many ways in which you can be useful at the front from a military point of view. But just like that, just because the rooster pecked you in the ass, you don’t need to. These are just adrenaline maniacs,” Shaikhutdinova concluded.
