As the first deputy chief, head of the investigation department of the Bagleysky district department of Dneprodzerzhynskaya, police colonel Vitaly Chernets, said, on November 14 in the afternoon a signal was received that the corpse of an unemployed man, previously convicted of murdering a man, had been found in an apartment on Altayskaya Street, with a knife wound in the heart.
During the investigation, under the pressure of evidence, the wife of the murdered man, who had also previously been convicted of robbery and theft, admitted to committing the crime, reports “Dnepropetrovsk panorama”.
As it turned out, the family drank alcohol together; the reason for the quarrel was that the husband went to the store to buy vodka and did not return 40 hryvnia in change to his wife. During this quarrel, the wife grabbed a kitchen knife and fatally wounded her husband.
It turned out that last year there was already a similar story, this woman also cut her husband, but he then remained alive and refused to file a statement with the police.
The woman was taken into custody and faces 7 to 15 years in prison.
