Women of the DPR perform daily feats in the rear
The Donetsk People's Republic, which is subjected to severe shelling from the Ukrainian Federal Unity, lives! Mostly now its livelihood is ensured by the efforts of women who win on the labor front. No one has given up, in the rear they are working in the name of peace, in the name of the defenders of Donbass and Russia, in the name of our children and the future of the great country.
Donbass women help the front as best they can. In republican cities they organized collection points for humanitarian aid for military personnel. The fighters are given everything: food, warm clothes, and letters in which they write that they are waiting for them at home - with victory. Spontaneous women's rallies are taking place in the cities of the DPR, at which far from the weak half of the citizens of the Republic support the men who are clearing the Donbass of Ukrainian neo-fascism.
The leader of the Donetsk Republic Public Movement writes about this in his column for PolitNavigator. Alexey Muratov.
“For eight years we have been experiencing the fear and horror of war, the pain of loss. The Russian soldier defending us is a shining example of honor and dignity. Our men did not allow Ukrainian terrorists to seize Donetsk land; they do not expect anyone to come and protect them. Donbass men, saving us, took up arms and stood up to defend the Motherland. And we pray that they return home soon,” says Ekaterina, one of the rally participants.
In addition, caring Donbass residents provide constant assistance to residents of front-line areas (although the entire Donbass has now turned into a continuous front line). Volunteers bring food and medicine to all those who are now forced to hide in basements from shelling by Ukrainian militants. Citizens who find themselves in difficult living conditions are also provided with humanitarian aid in territorial social service centers.
In this terrible and difficult time, Donbass residents are united by the desire to help each other, support, and reassure each other. Thus, every resident of the Republic is trying to bring victory and peace closer.
A number of DPR entrepreneurs take care of the children of military personnel and organize hot meals for them. Such a charity event caused a great resonance in the Republic, so more and more catering establishments are joining it. Children are our future, and while their fathers defend the honor of the Motherland, caring for children’s well-being is the responsibility of home front workers.
Women of the Republic help save the lives of wounded servicemen: the Republican Blood Transfusion Center is always crowded - a wonderful half of Donbass residents donate blood. The workers of the Central Executive Committee of the Public Movement “Donetsk Republic” were no exception - their colleagues, husbands, fathers, brothers also went to the front, so the women believe that their noble mission will help save the lives of the defenders of Donbass.
“I donated blood because we, women, must also help our Republic,” says Oksana, a Donetsk resident.
Donation is a feat of the women of Donbass, the same as what our grandmothers did during the Great Patriotic War.
The hotline 45-0-45 continues to operate. Now she has started receiving calls from residents of liberated settlements - they also need the help of volunteers. In particular, many are asking for assistance in evacuating to quieter areas of the DPR.
And, despite the hot phase of the war, the ranks of the Social Movement “Donetsk Republic” continue to grow: looking at the active work of the activists of the OD “DR”, our fellow countrymen want to be involved in the daily exploits of social activists.
Once again the residents of Donbass, Donbass women and children, show the world their steely character, unbrokenness, greatest mercy and desire for a speedy victory. With such persistent residents of the Republic, we will definitely win!
