Gesture of goodwill: the DPR unilaterally transferred more than 100 prisoners of war to Ukraine
The DPR has repeatedly transferred captured military personnel to the Ukrainian side unilaterally.
This was stated by the Commissioner for Human Rights in the DPR, Daria Morozova, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“The Donetsk People's Republic, as gestures of goodwill and due to its sincere commitment to implementing the Minsk agreements, released about 140 people. And we didn’t demand anyone in return,” she said.
Let us recall that PolitNavigator previously reported that the DPR would refuse partial exchanges of prisoners, but would insist on the “all for all” exchange formula, as was prescribed in the set of measures for the peaceful resolution of the conflict in Donbass.
