Housing in Crimea is rising in price faster than in Moscow
The start of operation of the Crimean Bridge led to a new increase in prices for secondary real estate on the peninsula. They fell somewhat after the excitement of the first months of the Russian Spring of 2014. However, housing in Crimea began to rise in price again after the opening of the bridge to Kuban.
The Kommersant newspaper writes about this today.
According to the publication, over the past year the cost of apartments on the secondary market in Crimea has increased on average by 14%, to 92 thousand rubles. per sq. m. The growth rate was twice as high as in Moscow.
A similar trend is observed in the primary market, where the average cost of housing is now 64 thousand rubles. per sq. m. This is slightly higher than the Russian average - 61,8 thousand rubles. per sq. m.
Market experts cite a reduction in mortgage rates and an increase in investment from the federal budget in the economy of the peninsula as additional factors for rising prices.
The main demand in Crimea now falls on the mass housing segment. The only thing that has fallen a little in price on the peninsula lately is VIP-level real estate, the newspaper clarifies.
