In Sevastopol, housing on the secondary market has already risen in price by 40%, in Simferopol by 6% and by more than 10% in new buildings, writes Kommersant.

The average cost of housing on the secondary market of Sevastopol in May-June increased by 40%, to $1,4-1,5 thousand per 1 sq. m. m. People believe that apartments in Russia should be more expensive than in Ukraine, and in the federal center - more expensive than in neighboring cities.
The growth in demand is noticeable: now in the Sevastopol Real Estate database there are about 4 thousand applications from Russians for the purchase of housing. Most clients are residents of mainland Russia, a small proportion are Ukrainians and residents of the Lugansk and Donetsk regions.
The Parangon development group claims that since the end of March the cost of 1 sq. m in the primary market increased from $800 to $1,5 thousand.
Changes are also noticeable in the rental market. At the beginning of the year, renting a one-room apartment cost 4,5 thousand rubles. per month, now prices have risen to 15-17 thousand rubles, but there are no available apartments.
In Simferopol, the results of joining Russia are less noticeable. in June, residential real estate prices increased by 4,5%, and the volume of supply decreased by 12,4%. By June 2013, the price of 1 sq. m in a one-room apartment increased by 6,1%, to $1,2 thousand. The cost of housing may rise by another 12-15%. In the primary market the trend is brighter. The Greenwood development company clarifies that since the beginning of the year, the price per square meter has increased by 10-12%, and sales have doubled to 40-45 apartments in six months.
