Zhirinovsky excluded from the election list a deputy who proposed kneeling before blacks
The LDPR will not include in its election party list RY State Duma deputy Dmitry Svishchev, who condemned the decision of the Russian team of referees Sergei Karasev not to take part in the Black Lives Matter protest and not to kneel before the 1/8 finals of the Champions League.
The leader of the LDPR, Vladimir Zhirinovsky, stated this in an interview with the YouTube channel “Solovievlive”.
“We have already expressed our negative attitude to him. Most likely, he will not run in elections based on our lists. It's looking for a new owner. Who would notice him and support him. The same Navalny, you see, in some district through “Smart Voting”. Or in the West they will say: look what it is. This is corruption,” Zhirinovsky said.
Another Zhirinovite, Sergei Ivanov, also went against the faction’s opinion. He was the only member of the faction to vote against the bill on publicly insulting veterans, calling it “politically biased after the Navalny case.”
