Zhirinovsky: The best option is a landing in Kyiv
Kiev, December 08 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Ryabov) - Russia’s refusal to send troops to Kiev to disperse the Euromaidan turned out to be fatal - if Moscow had decided to take such a step in February, it would have avoided a war in Donbass with numerous casualties.
LDPR leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky stated this on Russian TV.

“On February 22, we had to, like the French in Mali, abandon the paratroopers and return the legitimate president to power. Mali is a foreign country. We were supposed to land troops in Kyiv on February 22 and put Yanukovych back in prison and force him to do... But we keep Donbass in blood and can’t do anything... Power was in the hands of the legitimate president,” the deputy said.
“The Russian flag should fly over Kiev,” Zhirinovsky added, without specifying how this relates to his proposed return of Yanukovych.
