Zhirinovsky will work as a “steam locomotive” not only in Sevastopol, but also in Crimea
Simferopol, July 08 (Navigator, Evgeny Andreev, Mikhail Ryabov) - The Crimean organization of the LDPR, like its colleagues from Sevastopol, included Vladimir Zhirinovsky in the first place of the list of candidates for deputies in the elections to the State Council in September 2014.
State Council deputy Sergei Shuvainikov told Navigator about this.

Shuvainikov himself took second place on the list, activist Pavel Shperov, known for Russian actions, was in third, and another activist Yuri Yuryev was in fourth.
“Lots of new people. We will most likely announce the list in full when we submit it for registration,” the deputy said.
The Crimean LDPR will finally approve its candidates next Saturday.
Let us note that the Sevastopol organization LDPR also included Zhirinovsky in its list for 1st place. This will make it possible to use the party leader as a “wedding general” - using a promoted name to ensure the passage of unknown or unpopular candidates into parliament.
In addition, the presence of Zhirinovsky on the lists allows him to participate in campaign broadcasts on local TV, since he simply could not do this in his status as a party leader, according to Russian legislation.
