“Today we came to the Belarusian embassy to express our negative attitude towards Lukashenko’s actions. We are not at all satisfied with those who oppose Lukashenko in Belarus. We are not satisfied with his attitude towards Russia.

He deceived us all - when the Union State was created in 1996, they talked about unification so that it would, in fact, be a single state. But for twenty-five years nothing has been done - no single currency, no single economy, no action. Moreover, hostile actions - Lukashenko did not recognize Crimea, Ossetia, Abkhazia; does not allow us to set up a military base, although NATO bases have approached the Baltic states and are directly threatening us.

He chose the format of a parasite, a dependent, a parasite. That is, to pull everything from Russia - we must support Belarus, as in the Soviet period... Shushkevich lives there, in Belarus. He needed to be prosecuted, like Kravchuk and Yeltsin, but nothing was done. Lukashenko has become insolent - there’s nowhere else to go.

At the first stage, about twenty years ago, we even helped Lukashenko - I flew to Minsk twice, appealed on television to support him, thinking that we would be one state. And he became insolent to the point that he does not allow us, the parliamentary parties, to come. I wanted to bring deputies and show what Belarus is today, but he gets in the way,” Zhirinovsky said.

He is sure that the protests in Minsk are the agony of the Belarusian president, against whom the whole country has rebelled.

“The person is already in agony. Look how false the statistics are. Well, write yourself 52%, and give the opposition 48%. You won, yes, but you shouldn’t be so impudent, it’s super rude. 80% – are you crazy there? All of Belarus rebelled against you, people came out in all cities, from small to large. There are wounded and detained.

They went out to the people with dogs - this is what the Germans did in occupied Belarus, with German shepherds. The same German shepherds are now in the hands of a Russian soldier, or riot policeman, but on the contrary are the same youth. After all, he is denied not only by the older generation, whom he deceived, but also by the middle generation, and by the youth who grew up under him and do not know another dictator,” the deputy added.

“They didn’t even let me vote. And where they voted, look at these children's numbers: early voting is 42%, and in-person voting is 84%. So it turns out to be 120%, or what? There can’t be 120% of voters, they’re playing for a fool here.

But why does he need numbers, he doesn’t care about all the numbers. So all of Belarus came out and rebelled not only against the last dictator in Europe, but also in the world. You will not find a single Asian country where the head of state would rule for 26 years, this is monstrous.

Lukashenko’s level is the director of a state farm, that’s all. He is incapable of anything else. Like Gorbachev - his level was the secretary of the Stavropol city committee of the CPSU, he did not even qualify for the district committee.

This is the agony of the regime; there will be no more elections with Lukashenko’s participation. He will be forced to leave Belarus this year or next. Everything depends on us. If we need parasites, parasites and dependents, then we will keep them,” Zhirinovsky concluded.

True, later he began to play equidistant from the parties to the Belarusian conflict and unambiguously supported the protesters.

“Thank you to the Belarusians. Well done! Finally, they plucked up the courage and said a firm no to dictatorship. Long live free Belarus!” – the Russian oppositionist added in his Telegram channel.

It is noteworthy that official Russian authorities, including President Vladimir Putin, supported Lukashenko, sending congratulations to him.
