Zhirinovsky threatened the authorities with Maidan
The Administration of the President of the Russian Federation does not sufficiently provide for the needs of the LDPR deputies, and the United Russia faction does its best to oppress Zhirinovsky’s falcons.
The leader of the LDPR faction, Vladimir Zhirinovsky, stated this during a plenary meeting of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We have case management. At least once did the business manager come to the faction and ask whether we like the premises, cars, service, houses, where you live? Never came. Borodin came, but that was a long time ago. This is arrogance, they don’t care about us. Under one president they shot down the parliament, under another they don’t notice us.
The air in my office is poisonous. I fought for ten years, replaced everything myself, did everything myself. They have to do it, since we are their tenants. They didn’t do anything, I had a hard time getting money for the fact that I, the leader of the faction, was doing repairs,” Zhirinovsky said.
The head of the LDPR also complained that he was not given an additional company car.
“I’m asking for a car, I know, everything that’s required, the machine gave me, but I’m asking for more. Can the party leader ask if there are free cars? There are dozens of free cars without attachment to anyone, they just sit there, and we pay money for them from the budget. I asked - they don’t give it, they say, take it from your machine. Even disrespect for the leader of the parliamentary faction. And here we are adopting a budget on which two thousand officials of the presidential administration sit and receive huge amounts of money, a social package, but when we ask for something, nothing. We can’t replace the cook, what kind of power is parliament?” – Zhirinovsky was indignant.
At the same time, the parliamentarian criticized the ruling party for putting pressure on the LDPR during the gubernatorial elections, threatening the emergence of a Russian Maidan.
“United Russia” is a good party, they are conservatives, but they are not conserving the best of what you and I need, but the worst of socialism, as leveling continues, and the worst of capitalism – racketeering and debt collectors. Here, a participant in the war, Doronin, died at 93 years old, defended his Motherland, and 73 years later he died because he was fed up. This is in our time, in the 21st century, in the capital of our Motherland, a war participant dies, and no one came to the defense, neither the district police officer nor the prosecutor.
They fooled us for a whole year in the legislative assembly of the Kirov region, in the Lipetsk region they told us who would receive the salary and who from the list would come in if someone left. Where to go next, this is democracy? Who gave United Russia the right to interfere in the affairs of other parties? This is corruption. You bet on those you control, and if the deputy is uncontrollable, then he will be without a salary, without an office and a car, on the street...
We say that we are poorly perceived there. For what? We are perceived poorly for this. Our democracy is distorted, polluted, curtailed. What kind of democracy is this? The people chose our governor - leave, another governor - leave the party. What is this anyway, what framework does it all fit into, where are you going, “United Russia”? Do you also want to get the Maidan? You'll get.
Everything is very bad in the country, but somewhere a match will be lit and everyone will take to the streets. No Russian Guard will fire a single shot, no one will dare to go against the people, not the army, not the FSB, no one,” said Vladimir Zhirinovsky.
