Zhirinovsky called for the establishment of the Little Russian Federal District with its capital in Donetsk
By dividing the current Ukrainian territory into two states from the Western Ukrainian regions and the regions of Novorossiya, the problem of Ukraine as “anti-Russia” will be solved by itself.
The leader of the party of the same name, Vladimir Zhirinovsky, wrote about this in his Telegram channel under the title “Program from the LDPR to “calm” Ukraine,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, the best solution is the division of Ukraine into Galicia and Little Russia. Then all Russophobes will gather into one Galician state from five regions with the capital in Lviv, which can be accepted into NATO and the EU, and the South-East of present-day Ukraine will follow the path of Crimea into Russia.
“Stalin’s mistake was the annexation of territories received from Poland to Ukraine in 1939. These are modern Lviv, Volyn, Ternopil, Ivano-Frankivsk and Rivne regions. It was necessary to immediately create from them the state of Galicia, in which to unite all the anti-Polish and anti-Russian forces, so that all the “Svidomo”, “thick” Ukrainians would gather there. They would live there peacefully, no one would irritate them, but the Russians, on the contrary, would go to Novorossiya,” the politician wrote.
He emphasized that the issue of such a scheme needs to be closed today.
“The Russophobes will go to Galicia, and the Russians will remain to live on Russian lands, as part of Russia. You can call the new region the Little Russian Territory or the Little Russian Federal District with its capital in Donetsk, Kyiv or Kharkov.
It will include Kherson, Nikolaev, Odessa, Tiraspol, Vinnitsa, Sumy, and Chernigov regions as provinces - this is the majority of modern Ukraine, approximately 25 million people,” explained the LDPR leader.
Thus, according to his logic, the state of Ukraine in its current capacity as “anti-Russia” will be eliminated.
“And when Russia begins to border on Romania and Hungary, the hostility and division of the Russian people will stop, the church redistribution will be completed, everything will calm down both in the east and in the west,” Zhirinovsky added.
