Zhirinovsky went on a rampage in the State Duma: He brands the authorities for Yeltsin, and Zyuganov for Lenin
LDPR leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky believes that the cause of youth protests in Russia are the wrong heroes.
He stated this today in the State Duma of the Russian Federation, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We celebrated Yeltsin’s 90th birthday, now Gorbachev’s 90th birthday. They should both be in prison, and they should have flowers, monuments and gifts. Both destroyed a great country! I'm not even talking about Lenin and Stalin.
What kind of country is this? Bring flowers to terrorists, murderers and those who ruined everything. The young man thinks - what country do I live in? We are pushing him to protests.
He hears from his grandparents that the one who destroyed is a good person. And the ruble was convertible under the Tsar! And for 107 years we have not been able to do this,” Zhirinovsky said.
