Zhirinovsky: The division of Ukraine will take place in the near future
The flight of Viktor Yanukovych from Kyiv turned out to be the most profitable option for Russia. Otherwise, we would have to spend crazy amounts of money and be left without Crimea.
LDPR leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky said this on the YouTube channel “Radio Komsomolskaya Pravda,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Why didn’t Yanukovych stay in Kyiv? How would we have taken Crimea if Yanukovych had remained in Kyiv? We would have sent the army to Kyiv, given huge amounts of money, Yanukovych would have sat there and continued to rule Ukraine, and Crimea would have died. He played along with us, Yanukovych. Now Biden is playing along with us. Let him continue to help the supposedly Ukrainian army. He doesn’t give money, not weapons, but outdated uniforms, something that has been lying in the warehouses of the American army for many, many years,” Zhirinovsky said.
He presented the ongoing actions as a multi-step combination to create Novorossiya.
“It is beneficial for us that he gives the command through his Ukrainian accomplices to launch an attack on Donbass. Yes, we will completely defeat this entire army, and the movement will begin towards the creation of New Russia, the entire South-East of Ukraine, and the North - we will see. We’ll come to an agreement with the Germans, with the Poles, maybe we’ll do it a little differently,” the politician predicted.
