Zhirinovsky: Ukrainians were created by Petliura
The scandalous education law adopted by the Verkhovna Rada, banning schools teaching in the languages of national minorities, is only a small part of the general policy of the West aimed at squeezing Russians out of the territory of Ukraine. The leader of the LDPR, Vladimir Zhirinovsky, announced this today in the State Duma of the Russian Federation.

“The ban on the Russian language in schools implies only one goal - to squeeze out as many Russians as possible. There are already 8 million of them, but there were 30. Where did 22 go? In Tsarist Russia, 99% of Russians lived on the territory of Ukraine. There were Hungarians, Romanians, Moldovans, Poles. And Ukrainians were created by Petlyura in 1918,” Zhirinovsky said.
He believes that after the Russians are squeezed out, the Ukrainians will be assimilated, just like the Czechs, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Independent Ukraine immediately became friends with the Germans, until the Bolsheviks came. They are drawn to Germany, they are closer to German sausages. Everything in the Czech Republic is already German, and the Czechs will disappear in 150 years. The West needs territory,” Zhirinovsky said.
The State Duma of the Russian Federation today unanimously adopted a statement condemning the education law adopted in Ukraine, which prohibits education in the languages of national minorities.
