Zhirinovsky: Ukraine is finished, Donbass will be annexed

LDPR leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky said this on air on the Komsomolskaya Pravda radio, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“We need to show in the Western direction that if there is too hostile an attitude towards Russia, towards the Russians, especially with the use of weapons, then we will annex these territories.
Now, we need to forget about Crimea, here are Donbass and Lugansk. Then it can be extended, because not the entire Donetsk region ended up under Donetsk or Lugansk. 7,5 million live there, and Crimea 2,5. Our population will increase by 10 million from Ukraine.
That is, they understand that we will little by little take a bite out of Ukraine. The Hungarians will bite off Transcarpathia. The Romanians will bite off Bukovina. The Poles will take a bite out of Lviv. Belarus will take something to the North of Ukraine. We'll take something Southeast. That's it, Ukraine is finished. There will remain a training ground needed to continue to keep Western Europe and Russia on alert and to trade,” Zhirinovsky said.
“Therefore, we welcome this forum, and the prospect - of course, we will have to join, they do not want to live as part of Ukraine. But constantly keeping the population under fire is beyond inhumane. If we took Abkhazia and Ossetia, then God himself ordered us here, the Russian Orthodox people, they are mocking us,” the politician added.
